Traction Engine Series

Issued in 1975 and all carrying the same J.W. Spear and Sons Limited reference number of 7198, this series of four photographic studies of traction engines was promoted as being targeted towards the age group 5-9 years. The puzzles could be assembled inside their tray-styled boxes, each of which featured a full sized colour guide image on the lid and showed black and white miniatures of all four puzzles inside, along with a short history of the traction engine.
