545. Olympic Games Tokyo 1964, The (Wooden)

Produced in 1964 in both wooden and cardboard variants this puzzle features an unsigned depiction of eleven sporting contests and a torch bearer, all set around a central scene of the main athletics arena of the Games of the XVIII Olympiad. This wooden puzzles originally priced at 21/- (£1.05), over three times that of the card version and a considerable sum in 1964.

It is thought that Victory actually cut these puzzles for Waddington's in a rectangular format irrespective of it's circular shape. This to be confirmed.
