Red Box (Porthole) Series

The first set (of eight) circular puzzles made after WW2 in 1953-54 and packed in red lift-off lidded boxes with a 'porthole' design. Original price 5/9 (27p).

Inscribed 'Registered no. 830942' on the circumference which is the Waddington's registered design number for circular jigsaws.
