Round Boxed "Circulars"

This collection of around six cardboard puzzles, featuring works of art, were released in 1965, in Britain as Waddington's puzzles as well as in the USA marketed as Springbok. Four are shown here, the other two, 'Adoration of the Magi' and 'Winter Scene' are illustrated elsewhere in the 'Circulars' listing.

They come in sturdy round boxes with lift-off lids, c.14" diameter and 1½" deep, with large colour guide pictures. These were expensive to make and, despite their strength, were prone to collapse so after a few years both Springbok and Waddington's discontinued them in favour of a flat, square design.
