Whitman

Major American publishing house, specialising in children's books, puzzles and greetings cards.

The company had a British division under the name of Whitman Publishing (UK) Limited which produced many series of "licensed" cardboard jigsaw puzzles, including those for TV programmes such as Doctor Who and Dad's Army.
