Tea Break

Believed to date from c1980, this large, 630 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle features many of Meredith's highly original cutting techniques, including colour line-cutting, highly irregular shaped pieces, some character-shaped pieces, or figural shapes and all in all, a beautifully finished jigsaw puzzle, supplied in a typically solid box to ensure its safe-keeping for many years to come.
The unsigned print, published by J Arthur Dickson Ltd., features the LNER locomotive 8745, halted whilst driver and locals take a rest at the track side.
