Untitled-In the Courtyard

330-piece solid mahogany jigsaw puzzle featuring a fine painting which appears to show a signature of "Rozzi", although I believe this to be the Italian born artist Lucius Rossi (1846-1913), who was well known for his aristocratic figure and portrait work.

The semi-interlocking puzzle also includes nine figural shaped pieces, four of which are themselves comprised of 2-3 individual pieces. The box address of Carlton Street, London, helps to date this puzzle to the earliest days of the Zig-Zag Puzzle Company in around 1910-11.
