Southern Skies

This puzzle is a classical example of how little is certain in the history of puzzle manufacture, as it seems to indicate a relationship between two makers previously thought of as not connected.
Here we see a puzzle cut very much in the style of The Zig-Zag Puzzle Company, including characteristic figural shapes and in a box labelled much like theirs, but which clearly shows the Intalok logo normally associated with the Richards Art Co., or Raco brand.
Many thanks to Nicki Barker for sending pictures and details of this fascinating discovery for my attention.
See also the puzzle Land of Dreams, which closely matches the box and cutting style.
