Splendid Capture, A

This unsigned painting, though very sad in nature, has wonderfully captured the scene of this winter wilderness hunting group, and has been turned into a most impressive, solid mahogany backed wooden jigsaw, complete with a large number of rather simple figural pieces.
Pre-dating Zag-Zaws and Victory Gold Box puzzles, these early Zig-Zag puzzles really set the standard for the others to follow.
