Mars et Venus

A very challenging, 300 piece semi-interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle featuring colour line-cutting throughout, housed in a very well constructed white card box with a smaller scale colour guide picture on the lid.

The image is from a 1st century Roman mural depicting the Gods of Love and War, which was discovered at Pompeii and is now housed in the National Archaeological Museum in nearby Naples.
