Intérieur de chaumière

A very exciting find indeed, that of a French market example of Tuck's Zag-Zaw, complete with a double-sided promotional sheet detailing prices, sizes and some of the titles available. I estimate it to be of c1920s production.

This is a 75-piece non-interlocking plywood puzzle without the presence of any of the characteristic figural shaped pieces commonly associated with the Zag-Zaw range. This leads me to believe it was probably made in France, specifically for the French market. The period interior scene has a partial artist signature in the lower left, but I have not been able to make an identification.
