55-piece non-interlocking jigsaw puzzle, mounted on solid wood and featuring a humorous painting attributed to Louis Wain, although his signature in not showing.
Housed in an incorrect box, the title has been gained from research of other works by the artist.
A hand written inscription inside the box lid of 1910, does seem to tie in with the solid wood nature of this puzzle, along with the rather simple figural shaped pieces included in it.
