Beginning of Wisdom, The

Something of a personal favourite here, featuring the magical artistry of Louis Wain, beautifully capturing a moment of feline curiosity. The puzzle was in a rather sorry state on its arrival with me, with six absentees and several other damaged pieces, but patience and effort in recreating and painting the missing pieces and the repair and touching-in of several some areas of paper loss, all helped to restore it to a semblance of its original glory. The cutting style is non-interlocking and the puzzle also features fifteen Whimsies, or figural shapes.
