East Gate-Delft, The

This beautiful 400 piece, push-fit Zag-Zaw, along with its 64 Whimsies or figural shaped pieces, features a fine painting by the prolific English landscape artist Louis Burleigh Bruhl (1861-1942), whose work also featured in many promotional travel posters during the 1930's, most notably on Great Western Railway advertising. Here the subject is the stunning architecture of Delft's famous Oostpoort, or East Gate in the Netherlands. See also this W.G. Evans branded puzzle with another of his paintings.
