02. Lifeguards with Standard Approaching the Saluting Point

This is an interesting example of Tuck's Zag-Zaw, being number two in their series of six Military Review series. The push-fit, or non-interlocking cut is far cruder than I have seen previously, with the so-called Whimsies, or figural shaped pieces further echoing this. My guess would be that the puzzle was cut by someone new to the exercise, who had clearly not yet honed their skill to the usual standard. The piece count of 171, against an intended 150, serves as another indicator of a lack of experience!
