Mending the Nets

Very high class plywood puzzle from a good quality print of a fine seascape, dated 1906 by the British artist Alexander Young (1865-1923). This example, in the blue box, features an almost identical cut to some of the earlier Expert and also Graphic Gallery puzzles, thought to date from the 1920-1930 era.
See The End of the Day from the latter, along with A Hereford Rose Garden, from the former, both of which help to validate this thought.
Robert Plumb is the likely connection between all of these examples. Take a look at the reverse image as well, which shows off the grain of ply used. Magnificent!
