Old Gateway, The

Superbly cut plywood jigsaw puzzle, probably of c1930's vintage and featuring a colourful garden study carrying the signature of artist Marco Brunel.
The puzzle is cut in the traditionally whimsical style associated with so many of the Chandos branded puzzles, along with many of the Expert puzzles, such as Wild Hyacinths. The top quality hinge-lidded box adds a great extra touch of class to this very fine example.
