Famous Trains

A set of four card puzzles depicting commemorative postage stamps on this subject issued in 1985 They were printed by Harrison & Sons (High Wycombe) Ltd and designed by the well-known artist Terence Cuneo.

There were five stamps issued but that of 34p depicting the Cornish Riviera train was never made into a puzzle. The 'Famous Trains' logo included the GWR badge although three of the trains were not of this region.

The puzzles came in stout, shallow lift-off lidded boxes with a full-size guide picture on top.
